Liverpool have joined the growing list of British clubs interested in Gambian centre back Omar Colley.
The Reds are currently short of centre back options after Dejan Lovren completed his move to Zenit St Petersburg.
Omar Colley has a £10m release clause but it is believed that Sampdoria would accept half of this for the sale of the centre back with Sampnews24 reporting that Celtic, Burnley, Leicester, Westbrom & Liverpool are all interested.
Colley, 27, plays as a left centre back an area where Liverpool do need cover and with money tight at Anfield he could be viewed as the next Ragnar Klaven.
The Gambian vice-captain has played for a number of clubs across Europe but only came to prominence after his move to Italy.
Celtic had previously been linked with a bid however after the signing of Shane Duffy from Brighton it would appear they are now out of the running.
