The Premier League and Championship transfer window may have been slammed shut but it is still open for League one and League two clubs which will open the doors for some players to still go on loan.

One of them players who is set to depart on loan is twenty year old midfielder Herbie Kane who according to Pompey News is set to depart for League one side Portsmouth managed by Kenny Jackett.

Kane spent last season on loan at League two club Doncaster Rovers where he had an impressive season and it was hoped that he would follow manager Grant McCann from Doncaster to Championship club Hull City, however with the window now closed that move cannot happen.
