In our weekly feature we will look at all the Liverpool players who are currently on loan both at home and abroad and report on how they got on at their new clubs.
Kamil Grabara – Huddersfield
The Polish goalkeepers debut in the Championship got off to a rotten start, a terrible back pass from Huddersfield defender Tommy Elphick sold him down the river for the first goal he conceded against Derby and the 2nd goal which happened only minutes later was a thunderbolt from Tom Lawrence which he could do nothing about.
The 2nd half with much better for Grabara who made some impressive saves to ensure that Huddersfield were to stay in the game, they did manage to pull one back but it was all too late for the Terriers, however after the game Grabara was in a buoyant mood.
Sheyi Ojo – Rangers
Ojo will be hoping to follow the example of Ryan Kent and not the one of Ovie Ejaria during his loan spell with Rangers, however it did not get off to the best of starts against Kilmarnock, he did start the game for Steven Gerrard’s side but was hauled off after 78 minutes without making much of an impression leaving Gers fans un-impressed.
Rhys Williams – Kidderminister
It was seems to be the recurring theme for our loanees this week it is yet another who was not off to the best of starts as he was involved in a penalty decision that went against Kidderminister against Leamington however he did impress over all even making the non league team of the week.
Ben Woodburn – Oxford United
Breaking the theme of not getting off to the best of starts things could not have gone much better for Woodburn, he got his first assist for Oxford United in their League one clash with Sunderland and impressed even the rival fans with his performance.
