Loan Watch 2021/22: Week 1


In our weekly feature we will look at all the Liverpool players who are out on loan both at home and abroad and report on how they got on at their new clubs.

Adam Lewis (Livingstone)

Adam Lewis debut Livingstone

Adam Lewis made his competitive debut for Livingstone as they kicked off their season with a 3-0 win over Brechin City in the Premier Sports Cup (Scottish League Cup), he came close to getting an assist when his corner was just volleyed over the bar by Ayo Obileye.

Paul Glatzel (Tranmere)

Glatzel was a starter for Tranmere Rovers pre-season game against Steve Gerrard’s Rangers and almost had an assist when another ex-red Jay Spearing connect from his cross but hit it over the bar, he was taken off after 60 minutes.

Jakub Ojrzyński (Caernarfon Town)

The Polish goalkeeper loan has yet to be confirmed by the club however he did start for Caernarfon Town in their 2-1 defeat to Holywell Town in a pre-season friendly.

Vítězslav Jaroš (St Patricks Athletic)

It was a clean sheet for the Czech goalkeeper as he helped St.Patricks Athletic to a 1-0 win over Derry City to put them joint top of the Irish Premier division, he had a couple of saves to make but in truth he was never really threatened.
