Loris Karius made his Union Berlin debut as both he and Taiwo Awoniyi were announced as part of the starting line-up in a friendly victory against Hannover 96.

Union Berlin manager Urs Fischer has described Loris Karius’ first appearance for the side as “positive”

Kamil Grabara – Aarhus

Another keeper to make his debut was Kamil Grabara who re-joined Danish outfit Aarhus before the transfer window closed, after the game the Polish keeper spoke to local media

“I have not played for five months, so it was a great relief. I can say a lot about it, but it goes without saying that I am happy to play football again.

Tony Gallacher – Toronto FC

After his great assist last week, Gallacher was named in the starting lineup this week in Toronto’s victory over New England which put them top of the MLS League.

Speaking to Torontos website, Gallacher said of his loan experience

“First-team football is ideal right now, I’m loving every second of it and I can imagine, when I go back, I’ll want more of it.

Mogan Boyes – Fleetwood Town

Boyes was on international duty this week as he captained the Wales u21 side that lost 5-0 to Belgium so played no part inn the Fleetwood games.
