Sepp Van Den Berg (Preston North End)

Sepp van den berg preston move

Two games in a week for Van Den Berg who was lucky not to give away a penalty 20 minutes into Preston North End pre-season friendly versus Bolton Wanderers when his clumsy challenge took down Afolayan but the ref waved it away, only a couple of minutes later he made up for that error by clearing a ball from a corner that was heading towards a Bolton players head, he then came on for the last 20 mins of Preston’s game against Accringston Stanley.

Adam Lewis (Livingston)

Another player with two games in a week was Adam Lewis who started in the Scottish League cup as Livingston faced off against Raith Rovers last Wednesday but was substituted after 65mins and yesterday he only came on for the last 30 mins against Cowdenbeath.

Vitezslav Jaros (St Patricks Athletic)

Jaros is on a great run of form picking up his 3rd clean sheet in a row as St.Pats eased passed Bray Wanderers in the first round of the FAI Cup winning by score of 6 goals to nil, it was so easy for them they could afford to take off Jaros for the last 10 minutes.

Paul Glatzel (Tranmere Rovers)

The young forward has been playing more as a right winger for Tranmere in their pre-seasons game and while he did start against Stalybridge Celtic he did not have the best of games and found it tough to hold up the ball, he also got in 45 mins against Warrington Town where he flicked on a near post cross which was cleared off the line.
