Adam Lewis, 19, could be the next Liverpool player set for a loan spell away with the club looking to give him some much needed first team experience according to journalist Alan Nixon.

With Alberto Moreno leaving the club this summer the u23 captain was looked at as a possible replacement in the squad, however with Joe Gomez & James Milner able to deputise in the absence of Robertson along with the emergence of Yasser Larouci during pre-season this opens the door to a possible loan for Lewis.

Jurgen Klopp did bring Adam Lewis to the US as part of Liverpool’s pre-season plans and while he did get a chance to impress against Borrusia Dortmund and Seville it was as a midfielder and not as a left back.

Liverpool have so far only loaned out Ben Woodburn to Oxford United and Rhys Williams to non league Kidderminister Harriers and if Lewis was to go he would need to move to a Championship or a high placed League one team.
