Reports have emerged that Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign young Fluminense goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga.
Marcelo Pitaluga, 17, is the current number 4 at Fluminense where he provides cover for Muriel Becker who is the brother of Alisson, he was also part of the Brazilian team that won the u-17 World Cup.
The source of the information would not be considered the most reliable however what cannot be ignored is during the last winter break Alisson went back to Brazil and trained with his brother and Pitaluga at Fluminense.
It certainly would not be out of the realms of possibility that Alisson recommend Pitaluga to Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Acthenberg just like Doni once recommend him.
Work permit would also not be an issue for the player as he holds a german passport, if he was to join he would almost certainly join up with the u23 squad to compete with Czech keeper Vitezslav Jaros.
