Liverpool along with Brighton & Leeds United have had a bid accepted for Scottish teenage sensation Sam Campbell.
The 16 year old defender was only 14 when he made his debut for Motherwell under 18s but has yet to make his senior bow.
It is now up to Sam Campbell to decide which club can offer him a route to first team football with Crystal Palace also understood to be interested.
Motherwell for their part are keen to keep a hold of the defender and have offered him a 4 year deal to stay at Fir Park.
Liverpool have raided Scottish clubs in the past for their best teenagers signing Tony Gallagher from Falkirk who has recently gone on load to Toronto FC.
