Liverpool football club are believed to be close to signing a new kit deal with Nike estimated to be worth $100m a year over a 10 year period.
The club’s contract with current kit supplier New Balance which is worth £45m a season is due to finish at the end of the season and the club have been in discussions with multiple manufacturers including New Balance & Adidas.
Nike however have now emerged as firm favorites with them willing to pay a record fee plus with Adidas sponsoring Manchester United & Puma sponsoring Manchester City that leaves Nike looking for a club in the North West.
This deal would come on the back of previous record deals with the likes of AXA, EA Sports and 1xBET all signed within the last 12 months and if the figures are correct it would make it the biggest deal in Premier League history.
