Liverpool are about to make their third signing of the summer with former Real Betis & WestHam United goalkeeper Adrian set to join on a free transfer.

With Simon Mignolet about to depart for Club Brugge and Kamil Grabara on loan at Huddersfield a spot has opened up at Anfield for a backup goalkeeper and various reports are now saying that the man to come in is none other than Adrian.

Adrian is a vastly experienced goalkeeper who amassed a total of 125 appearances and 35 clean sheets during his six year stint with WestHam United, not to mention he saw off the challenge of England international Joe Hart for his number one spot and Irish goalkeeper Darren Randolph however the arrival of Lukasz Fabianski finally relegated him to the bench and he did not make a premier league appearance last season.

Adrian happy with Liverpool move

Now at 32 years old he would add valuable experience and certainly would not be fazed if he was called upon in a Premier League game, like Alisson he also looks to come off his line often and like Mignolet before him he is a decent shot stopper, he also has strong concentration on the pitch which he will need as unlike at WestHam he may only face a couple of shots in a game so he needs to be ready for them.
