It has been a busy day at Anfield with Harry Wilson becoming the 3rd player to leave on loan following the earlier loan of Liam Millar to Kilmarnock & Taiwyo Awoniyi to FSV Mainz.

The path from Anfeild to the Vitality stadium is one well travelled with Jordan Ibe, Brad Smith & Dominic Solanke all now making that journey and ironically with Wilson now joining it could mean the exit of Ibe.

The news of Wilson’s possible departure had broken last night and the news of it being a loan has taken some fans by surprise especially as it was believed that Liverpool would have preferred to either sell Wilson for a fee in the region of £20m or keep him.

However with no bid imminent Liverpool instead took the option of loaning Wilson to a Premier League rival for a £2.5m loan fee without any option to buy, knowing full well that if the Welsh has a good season in the Premier League they would see his value sky rocket.
