Roma have not yet given up hope of signing Croatian centre back Dejan Lovren with corrieredellosport reporting a new bid is imminent.
The deal had looked like it had fallen through after Liverpool recently broke off talks with the Italian outfit when Roma would only offer a loan deal.
Now Roma are hoping a new offer of a loan deal with the right to purchase at the end of the loan period along with the player pushing for a move will be enough to get the deal done before the window closes
However Liverpool would only accept a loan offer if their was an obligation to buy at the end of the loan period with Roma paying Lovren’s full wages.
Lovren recently took to social media with the caption “If you have a friend with whom you can speak and open your heart at anytime” with an image of him and ex Roma winger Mo Salah during Liverpool training.
